Galetta is a run-of-river hydroelectric facility with installed capacity of two MW, located on the Mississippi River, near Galetta, Ontario. This wholly-owned facility utilizes two fixed-blade propeller turbines and two horizontal quad-Francis camel-back Canadian Hydro Components turbines, with four Siemens generators. This facility was originally built in 1907 and retrofitted in 1998. Generation from this facility is sold to the OPA pursuant to a PPA that terminates in 2030. Management believes that the estimated annual gross generation from the facility will be approximately 10 GWh.
