Upper Mamquam is a run of-river hydroelectric facility with installed capacity of 25 MW, located on the Mamquam River, east of Squamish, British Columbia, and north of Vancouver. The wholly-owned facility utilizes two horizontal axis double Litostroj Francis turbines and Leroy-Somer generators. This facility began commercial operations in July 2005. Generation from the facility is sold to BC Hydro under a PPA that terminates in 2025. Management believes that the estimated annual gross generation from the facility will be approximately 101 GWh.
